I arrived here via C-123 from Cu Chi after graduating from the 25th Division school. (No one in my class flunked). The landing strip was very busy with fixed wing and helicopter arrivals and departures but the terminal was tiny. A jeep driver outside told me A Battery 7/11 artillery headquarters was a long walk with a full duffel bag and drove me there, also offering sage advice on adapting to Vietnam.
