Small Animals
Pigs, ducks, geese, chicken and fish in the paddies were the farm animals destined for the table. Larger animals worked and I assume were eaten later in their life. The Montagnards hunted and ate wild game and I assume the lowland Vietnamese did also, but have no idea what game. Small deer were not rare but a war zone does not support a large population of animals, except for rats.
