Shower 2

Ammo boxes created a big trash problem but were also the main construction material available. We filled them with earth to provide protection, deconstructed them for wood parts to build “extras” such as the shower on the right, and even build elevated sidewalks in base camp.

A 2.5 gallon shower bag was installed but you had to bring your own water. We put a 5 gallon metal water container close to the exhaust of a generator (FDC had a 110, a 220 and a 440 version) to produce hot water. A hot shower felt so good. Cold might sound better but was not.
