Being wet is miserable and with no place dry and mud underfoot, becomes depressing. Keeping anything dry during the Vietnamese monsoon season took diligent effort. Envelopes with glue stuck from humidity and keeping a piece of dry fabric to clean my glasses was nearly impossible.
