Nguyen Cao Ky
General Nguyen Cao Ky became prime minister of Vietnam in 1965 and shared power with Nguyen Van Thieu. In 1967 he agreed to let Thieu be the sole head of state and he became vice president. His power diminished slowly until 1971 when he was ousted from the Vietnamese government
