Taken with my 35mm Yashika TL Super camera I purchased in Vietnam. It had a fast shutter (up to 1/1,000 of a second) and let me “stop” the rapidly spinning helicopter rotor blade for this picture. I thought then this picture was abstract art. Today my judgement is a “C” grade. Focus was not automatic as it is in cameras today and I also needed to have the F-stop set by hand, so taking a quality image was never a sure thing.
