Vic Cooper. Tom Guardia, Lt. Miller and Dave Seim are taking a break from ammo box and sandbag filling. Lt. Miller is wearing a shirt as officers should be more properly attired than enlisted men. The portable radio is tuned to Armed Forces Radio in Saigon and diverted our attention from this boring and repetitious task. Removal of the dirt is creating a hole where we can park our truck to provide some protection from it being hit by shrapnel, a 2 for 1 benefit. Filling large numbers of sandbags over a period of weeks produced numerous holes scattered around the FSB.
