This Bell AH-1 Cobra was lifted to this spot by the Chinook helicopter (center left behind the Cobra) and was suspended using the strap hanging from the Cobra rotor blade. It was impressive to see while in flight but I was slow getting my camera in action and missed taking a very good picture. The title for this image is “damaged Cobra 1” but could have been “destroyed Cobra 1” as this baby needed more than a repair shop visit.
