The LOH-6 was the most maneuverable helicopter flown by the Army. Commanders at all levels used them as mobile Command & Control platforms. Paired with 2 Cobras, it was a little brother sticking his nose everywhere with 2 big tough brothers just waiting to rescue him from trouble. Named Hunter-Killer teams, the LOH darted in and out of tree lines while the “Cobras” loitered high above ready to strike.
