Busy Street

The mix of vehicles on urban roads was greater than on rural roads and traffic was much heavier. They even had traffic jams in 1968! This was the second gas station sign I saw in Tay Ninh City. I knew little of the city we traveled as convoys of American vehicles were limited to main roads as others were too small for our large equipment. I know we destroyed the rural roads during the wet season with our large trucks and tracked vehicles but do not remember what damage was done to urban roads.
