Joey Bishop was patient with each person, taking as many pictures as they wanted and posing in any way asked. Somehow this felt like “home”. At this time in my tour of duty, my mental pictures of home and people had faded. Putting one foot ahead of the other, moment to moment, was my world. It seemed it had been that way forever. 4 hours of sleep in 24 was the most we got. I was a zombie, as was everyone else.
