Air Strike

Jet Fighter/Bombers striking a target about a mile from our firebase are creating the white smoke. Their sound and speed caught and held my attention for about an hour as I shot these 8 images. Had they been working closer I would not have been able to take pictures because of the ground shaking.
The pictures were taken using a 35mm Yashika TL Super and Kodak film. When purchased the film included a mailer to send the film postage-free to a Kodak plant in the states for developing and printing. Cameras and film were much less expensive than in America.
Polaroid cameras were very popular for their instant output. Double exposing film over a fixed point produced many surreal images, such as a person shaking hands with himself.
