Their equipment carried more comforts of home than “leg” infantry but Automatic Weapons were moved to heavy fighting. Tough alternatives! The Quad 50 was built on a truck chassie, the Dusters on a T-41 Tank chassie while the APC’s were purpose built from scratch.
